Francesco Bonaccorso

Researcher at the Graphene Labs of the Italian Institute of Technology. He received a PhD in Physics at the University of Messina, carrying out his research activity at the CNR-IPCF, the Engineering Department of the Cambridge University (UK) and at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Vanderbilt University (USA). In 2009 he received a “Royal Society Newton International Fellowship” at the Cambridge University and he was elected a “Fellow” at the Hughes Hall College in Cambridge, where in 2012 he was awarded with a “Master of Arts”. He was in charge of preparing the scientific and technological Roadmap of the Graphene Flagship. His research activity focuses on the development of functional inks and their spectroscopic characterization, and on their technological applications both in optoelectronic devices and for energy conversion and storage.
