S. Beke graduated in Physics from the University of Szeged, Hungary in 2001 and in Economics in 2003. In 2008 he received his PhD in Applied Physics. In 2008-2011 he worked in Japan on “laser microprocessing of photosensitive glass for micro and biochip applications”, then in 2011-2016 in Italy (IIT-Genova) on the fabrication of biodegradable scaffolds for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine using laser stereolithography. He is the main contributor (first or last author) of over 25 peer-reviewed scientific papers. In 2015 he was awarded with visiting professorship at the University of Szeged.
